Environment-friendly Future: 3 great steps taken towards it

3 massive steps taken towards Environment-Friendly Future We all are finding ways towards e future which will be friendly to Nature and Environment. Scientists have also devoted themselves for the research of making the future environmentally friendly. What does it mean by Environmentally friendly or Eco-friendly? Activities by human to support human civilisation.  Cause negligible harm to nature.  Don't restrain elements of nature to work properly.  Humans are not so unaware of the devastating increase of pollution in modern age. Many steps are already taken to protect our Mother Nature from being corrupted. In this page we'll talk about Three major steps proposed by Scientists and Researchers which are already in practice. 1. Bio-fuel:  Bio-fuel means, fuel that is produced from bio-mass. It generally denotes liquid or gaseous fuels, used in vehicles or for transportation.  Types of Bio-fuel: Bio-fuel is of two types (according to state in normal temperature):  Gaseous Bio-f

SO, THE QUESTION HERE IS, CAN A HUMAN BE KILLED BY BEES!

You'll get the answer, at the end! But for now, let's see what are the powers in a bee!

DIFFERENT KINDS OF BEES:~

There are mainly two types of bees-

Social bees:

Common carder bees, White-tailed bumblebees, Honeybees, Red-tailed bumblebees, Early bumblebees, Tree bumblebees

Solitary bees:

Patchwork leaf-cutter bee, Red mason bee, Ivy bee, Hairy footed flower bee

ABOUT BEE'S STING:

Every bee have sting but here we'll talk about honeybee's sting.

Components:

1. Peptides:

a. Melittin
b. Apamin
c. Mast cell degenerating peptide
d. Adolapin
e. Tetriapin

2. Enzymes:

a. Phospholipase A2
b. Phospholipase B
c. Hyaluronidase
d. Acid Phospatase
e. Ξ±-Glucocidase

The main component is Melittin which acts as detergent to disrupt cell membranes and alters cellular permeability and causes histamine release. The important alkergens among the components are phospholipases, hyaluronidase and acid phosphatase.

 The Attack:

When a bee stings and injects apitoxin into the threat, a release of 'alarm pheromones' occurs. It's release alerts other bees to the danger and may attract bees of a hive nearby to the location. Then they'd show defensive behaviour to the threat by stinging and attacking it. The pheromones do not wash off easily. So if bees start attacking, they keep it up untill the danger is no more.
The venom is cytotoxic and haemotoxic, which produce local inflammation.

Africanized honeybees possess the most attacking behaviours, with near about 1000 reported human kills so far.

So, bees can kill human!

And humans are more prone to death if they have allergies towards some components of venom of bees. In Severe Allergic Reactions or anaphylosis, a person can catch itching, flushed skin, breathing difficulties, a weak and rapid pulse, Nausea and vomiting, and even loss of consciousness. Late of treatment may lead to death.

A Death In West Bengal, India:

On 8th march, 2021. A girl at Chhatrahati village of South Dinajpur district in West Bengal, died by attack of bees. The girl, Jasmine Sarkar, went out of house with cycle and on the way got attacked by a hive of bees. According to a witness, the bees attacked her badly and even entered into her nose, ears and mouth. A Kite was disturbing the colony of bees.

So, be aware colony of bees near you. Alhough getting stinged by one or two bees won't lead to death, but think about getting stinged by thousands of angry bees! They are enough to hospitalize you.

CHEERS!
