 3 massive steps taken towards Environment-Friendly Future We all are finding ways towards e future which will be friendly to Nature and Environment. Scientists have also devoted themselves for the research of making the future environmentally friendly. What does it mean by Environmentally friendly or Eco-friendly? RITIKA PHOGAT COMMITS SUICIDE!



Ritika was maternal cousin of Geeta and Babita Phogat.  

Ritika was a state level wrestler and was competing in the sub-junior, junior women and men's wrestling competition at Lohagarh stadium in Bharatpur. The final was scheduled on 14th March, 2021. She was only 17 years old. She was also a part of Mahavir Singh Phogat's sports academy. 

She participated in the wrestling competition at Bharatpur, started on 12 th march, and managed to uplift herself in the Final. 

The Final match took place on 14th march. She played hard but lost the game by only 1 point. 

It is a shocking news to know she couldn't bear the shock of losing and hanged herself to death near 11 of night  on 17th March. 

"Geeta aur Babita" is a famous phrase in the movie Dangal by Aamir Khan where people witnessed Geeta Phogat's gold winning (55 kg) event at the 2010 Commonwealth games. Babita won silver at the same event in 51 kg category. 

It was reported by some news companies that Mahavir Singh Phogat was also present in the tournament where Ritika lost the final. 

Vijay Kumar Singh, Minister of State for Road transport and highways, has confirmed the news of Ritika's suicide on social media. 



"Athletes are facing pressures which were not there earlier" ,he said.

Suicide has become common these days. We need to know that suicide isn't a solution. We have to face our problems and failures. Because failure is the pillar of success.
